| My first tattoo. I spent a lot of years overseas, and felt I needed to express myself as an Australian in a different way. The southern cross is as it appears on the Australian Flag, with the words "Terra Australia del Espiritu Santo" (Great Southland of the Holy Spirit). This has great meaning for me personally. I have little interest if people like it or dislike it, it is a very personal expression. P.S, It should be "Santu" not "Santo" ha ha, makes it just a little bit more special. |

| The southern cross the Bogan Stamp I've had 2 southern cross tattoos on each wrist for 30yrs and they were never seen as a problem then. Being proud of your country is an individual thing how you show it is a personal thing. Wear them with pride Adam I do. |

| If this tattoo means so much for you then why do you care what others think. It's for you and you alone if you really feel that way. The way you bicker over makes it sound like you feel like you need to defend it, you don't. If you like it, then good. |

| here we go....vogue...more like vague. Something silly to you may not be for someone else. Rating is all well and good, being downright nasty and spiteful in comments demonstrates a sense of elitism, immaturity, and a lack of respect for others. |

| its a tattoo rating site, hence the name 'RATE' my ink. a place to leave comments and ratings. which i did. getting your own name on your arm is a silly tattoo so i rated it, thats what the whole site is for. if you cant handle that why sign up? |
