I am in awe of just how beautiful and meaningful this work is. It is definitely not lost on me. I am in the process of having a japanese temple/pagoda with two koi and a lotus half sleeve done. I am having something similar to yours on the other arm.
I couldn't decide if I wanted to be looking down at my purple lotus,or a side view. I inevitably went with the side view because it is part of a half sleeve with two koi and a temple/pagoda. Yours is exactly what I would've gotten though!
