Open Question: My tattoo is scabbing - is it time to switch to lotion?

As the title says - it's been my 5th day and my tattoo is now scabbing. I've been putting bepanthen on it but am now wondering if it's time to switch to lotion? Also, how to get rid of the flaking

	I just posted the same tattoo only in black, gold and white for my N.O. Saints. It is on top of my left foot. It looks really good big too! I loved it as soon as I saw it! Nice work, a 10!
