Though I am hesitant to reply to your very intelligent comment - I would like to ask you to think about the definition of the word "Position" and what it could possibly have to do with color?
I do like the color and detail. It's nice to see someone getting "true" dragons (eastern). The old paintins/drawings/art certainly the watercolors, aren't always lined up right with the legs, body, etc.
