Dave Ayres is a very well known and respected artist who has won lots of awards for his work over the last 25yrs.
I think that when we are young we all get tattoos that maybe we wouldn't choose now but isn't that the whole point?
I would just like to point out that this "tat" is over well over 10 years old and is not meant to be a portrait picture. As for saying the artist is crap if you check out my undertaker tat you'll see this is not the case.
