I got these bleeding hearts on my hip as a memorial tattoo at Lucky 13 Tattoos in Toronto. They are supposed to be gradually decaying which is why all the leaves are kind of dead looking. I don't know how successfully that idea was executed though. This is before I got my touch up and extended the stem down my hip more. Definitely staying black and grey. No regrets, I love it.

	Its beautiful. Love the concept. Bleeding hearts are said to lift sorrows of a household if you plant them around your home. Suppose 2 bring tranquility to an aching heart 2. Was thinking of incorporating the bleeding heart into a tattoo in the making.
