My mother passed away a few months ago after a 2 year battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. Though I always said I'd never get a tattoo I decided that I needed to do this as a tribute, Nate Chadwick at FAT KAT TATTOO and I came up with this design together. Notice the ribbon ends in "M M" at the bottom (stands for Multiple Myeloma) and in between there is a knot in the wooden cross which looks like an "O"...so it spells out MOM. The beach scene reflects on my mothers love of travel
