I'm a native Scot. Some of my family from Scotland came to visit (to Ohio) We had been wanting to get a tattoo commemorating our Scottish heritage. The thistle is known as Scotlands flower. This tattoo represents that as well as a Celtic knot. The trinity knot has a few various meanings, but I choose to say it stands for my 3 children and the heart in it, is for my love for them.
This was my first tattoo, done on my left foot by Josh at Temple Tattoo in Gallipolis, OH. (Pic is day after getting tat)
