This is a tattoo of a hummingbird & a violet. I got this tattoo in memory of my grandmother that passed away in 2008. I picked a hummingbird because on the day she passed away, I saw a hummingbird outside of her house. She passed in early October & you don't really see many hummingbirds in my neck of the woods in October. I was told that hummingbirds stand for peace & love. I felt like that was my grandmother letting me know that she was okay. So I got a hummingbird & a violet, her favorite flower.
