I'm in the Navy and was stationed in Corpus Christi, TX on a minewsweeper. I designed and got this tattoo because of what I did down there hunting mines and what the state did for me, which was give me a home and good memories for 3 1/2 years, and a girlfriend who I have been with for two years.
I got this done July 30th 2009 at Bonaroo Tattoo in Aurora, CO by Dirk. It took close to two hours and wasn't too painful (first tat) except for a bit after about an hour and a half during the coloring.
