we got couples tats to represent our relationship but didn't want to match.

i got the claddagh to reflect my irish roots and to symbolize love, loyalty and friendship. His adrinka symbols reflect his african heritage. The first (closest to his hand) is "osram ne nsoromma" which symbolizes love faithfulness and harmony. The next one is "dwennimenn" which represents humility and strength. The last one, "funtunfunefudenkyemfunefu" represents unity in diversity.
