Straight from Gustave Dore's illustrations for John Milton's epic poem "Paradise Lost". The meaning behind the illustration is vast and can be interpretated in various ways; loss of innocence, good vs evil, deep religious meanings etc. I plan to get more done on this piece that will cover the entier rib cage, although I'm not looking forward to getting it done..
