This is my 3rd tat. It was done by Lupe at Texas /tattoo Emporium Westheimer in Houston.I drew up this design after seeing a "Celtic compass rose" for a map. The design is basically the same, except I added the shading that you would normally see on a traditional compass rose. I felt justified in tattooing myself with a nautical star due to the fact that I was in the Navy. This is significant to me because it represents finding your way (or not getting lost) both figuratively & literally.
