This is a poem I wrote 20 years ago, trying to express a lot of related idea about Goddess-belief, the element of water as the source of life, the sound "M" relating to words for Mother, meander-designs making an "M" and so on.
Jennifer Moore at Sanctuary Tattoos in Portland, Maine, did the design and the tattoo.
This is a close-up, right after the work, so it's not settled in yet.
