First tattoo I got done on my left arm. Done by Mike Gladwell of West Haven Tattoo, CT. Letters below in Elven (JRR Tolkien fan) says "From ashes begins a new life".

My phoenix is my first tat too, but mine will be in colour, eventually. I'm a colour fiend, but I really like yours in black and grey.
It looks really crisp.
