This is my first tattoo done by Dan Rick of Big Top Tattoo in Utica, Michigan.

The story behind the design is this. The star represents my family. I'm one of 5 kids and the star has 5 points. The stripe represents my friends and how it and my family intersect. The red is other commitments in my life. The elephant is me trying to balance all of the things in my life. I'm the elephant because they never forget, they're big and strong, and have no natural predators. And I also just dig elephants.
