This was my first tattoo, it is of a koi fish and lotus flower. I decided to get the tattoo after i was diagnosed with a disease that eventually ended up paralyzing me from the neck down. I am no longer paralyzed, but it is a great reminder of how strong I can be and what I am trying to overcome.
