the idea came to me that I should get a seedling tattoo-- it not only represents my profession, but potential. A seedling is so anonymous looking at that stage, it could turn into anything. At the same time I came across the symbol for Om, which I could see a seedling looking like, and to me represents balance and enlightenment. My tattoo artist helped me combine the 2.
