I got the face tattoo when I turned 20 (1996) The work was terrible, lopsided and the coloring was spotty. In January of this year (2008) I went to the mighty Tom Yak at Electric Tattoo in Bradley Beach NJ. He redid the face and helped bring my vision of the tree to life. He was unable tocompletely fix the face, but it is better than it was.

	Not sure if it would work but you could turn the face into some sort of Celtic or tribal frame around the tree
