My tattoo is done over a 5 inch scar I have from a bypass surgery. I was not trying to hide the scar but rather celebrate and embrace it. I chose a blossoming cherry tree because it symbolizes how much I have changed and continue to change as I challenge my inner demons. It was done by Jeff Ward at High Voltage Tattoo in LA.
