| Besides being incredibly cute, my new sparrow tattoo has a ton of meaning. First off, the sparrow is a symbol of true love. My boyfriend, whom i am totally in love with, came with me to hold my hand while i got it. Second, the sparrow is a symbol of a safe journey and a safe return home, or, traveling great distances, but always returning home. I'm going off to college in 3 days, so my tattoo is also a symbol of "leaving the nest", i'm going to be "flying" off on my own now, but i will always return home. |
