The koi was added to the sun by a seperate artist. Both sun and koi were done free hand and are custom designs by the artists. The Koi was done by Jason Ballard at Ink Inc. Tattoo in Phoenix Arizona. The Sun was done by Josh at Skin Deep in Maui.
