This is the three stars and the sun of the Filipino Flag. The three stars stand for the three main islands of the Philippines, while the 8 rays on the sun stand for the first 8 provinces that gained independence from Spanish rule.

I got it done by Glory at Garage Ink in Hayward, California. My first tattoo, not too much going on, but it symbolizes my ethnicity and my pride.
