This is the 2nd installment of my tattoo. It was originally just the 3 in the center. Those 3 symbols translate to "Bushido", the Japanese code of honour. The other 7 symbols are the 7 tenants of Bushido (Honour, Loyalty, etc). They are shaped in a circle to represent unending belief in those tenants. Eventually, I want to border my tattoos to make a much stronger circle with some shading, then do a full spread winged phoenix in the center in full color, to represent rebirth in my own life.

	I think you mean 'tenets,' not 'tenants.' I've just looked at several other tattoos incorporating the exact same bad kanji flash as this.
