My husband and I wrote down some symbols that were important to us and took it to Jim Karanik at Red Sky Tattoo. He is amazing. So talented. It is a lot larger than I had planned for my first tattoo but he recommended this size in order to keep the detail and fit all my symbols.
I asked for the number 27 in the body, a W in the head and antennae, a heart, celtic triangle knot, the Adoption symbol and a Peace sign in the wings.
He got it all in and it is more beautiful than I ever imagined.
(It limits the comment size so this may be two messages) Yea... I planned to have it fairly small until the artist drew it up and told me he recommended the size he drew if we wanted to keep the details.
How tall and wide is the butterfly? Also where did you put it? About how long did it take to do? Because I talked to an artist and he said it would have to be larger than I was thinking (I wanted it on my foot) so I'm debating what to do. Thanks!!!
