i got this tattoo because it is a powerful statement. it speaks of defiance, rather than capitulation. Strength rather than weakness. Autonomy, not dependence. Pride not humility. We'd rather stand up, marveling at what we have done and die than get on our knees and depend on God.

	If you're going to get a tattoo get the name of the person right. Emiliano Zapata. Or to be more accurate, François-Noël Gracchus Babeuf in 1749. I hope you're not as much of a tool as your tattoo design choice suggests...

	this is actually the quote of a mexican revoulutionist named emiliano zapata and yes the first part of my interpritation is what he said but the part about god is another way that you can interpret the quote by him and i interprit it in two ways
