Here is my first (and possibly last) tattoo of an ampersand on my back. It was just done, by Phil at Wildcat Ink, Celestial Ring, Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, Dublin. I'd wanted an ampersand for at least 2 years and set January 2008 as the cut off point. If I definitely still wanted it then, I'd get it. For me, it stands for inclusion and ambition but I also love the shape of it. I also wanted something to reflect the fact that I'm a graphic designer since it is the ultimate permanent typography.
