My back piece started off with just the kanji, which is my daughters name. Then, years later I added a lower back piece (we are in the process of covering that). The birds came in next, with the banners following. Then the sacred heart was added, then the ray/cloud pieces. The lotus was selected to cover the scrolly design I had on my lower back (no tramp stamps for THIS girl). My back piece is a dedication to my family as they are my rock.

	The lotus is very nice. Can you post some pics of close ups? It's hard to see the rest of your back piece.
