This is my first tattoo done by my fianceé Jim O'Rourke at GenXTattoos in Willoughby,OH. It is the outline on my right hip/stomach area. I will be adding color once I'm done being pregnant!!!!!

(It's 6 inches long from the top to the bottom.)
I chose the koi because I love the symbolism. In Japanese symbolism the koi represents perserverance in adversity and strength of purpose.

Well actually it won't be finished for quite a while. Soon after I got this tattoo I realized that we are going to have a baby! The drawing has been finished for quite a while, but maybe this time next year I'll have a finished tattoo.. who knows?
