This tattoo was started about 8 years ago by Lucky Dave Fuentes from Bakersfield, CA. Dave was an old school guy who tattooed people by slamming in the tattoo so hard it almost scarred the skin. after about 5 hours into the tattoo I became a sissy and stopped the session. In 2006, Dave died of brain cancer. I wish now I would have had it in me to finish. But being on the rib cage and all, I could only take so much. Now I am having Kirk Ellingsen at Bone Daddyz in Fullerton finish the tattoo for me.

	Too bad about the first artist. It's a well done tattoo, the colors are so bright. I think the green is my favorite.

	Both Kirk and I knew Dave for a long time, but it is somewhat bitter sweet having another artist finish it for me. It is not finished yet, but it will be someday. Every session we do is filled with stories of him that make us laugh and miss him dearly.
