This is my first and so far only tattoo, inspired by the artwork of Amy Brown. It took about 5 and 1/2 hours and yeah it hurt. It was done by Mike at BlueHorseShoe Tattoo in Hampton VA on 6-13-06. The staff is called a cadeceus (sp?)which is a medical symbol I chose since I am a nurse, the symbol on her leg is a triple Goddess, the star at the top of the staff is a pent, both due to my religion (I am Pagan). The fairy is meant to look like she is dancing since I am a dancer (Bellydance!)
