Every part of this tattoo has personal meaning

Butterfly-that's what my mom's name means in vietnamese; she loves them more than anything, and of course, i love her.

wave: my love for the ocean and surfing

compass: my love for norman, my stepdad, who shares my passion for travel and adventure, and also b/c he "guides" me through life

plumeria: my love for hawaii (since it is like my second home)

the cross: my love for God

the sunrays on top "shines light" on all these things in my life.
