This tattoo is a tribute to my grandfather who flew a TBF Avenger off the USS Intrepid from 6 Sept 1944 through 30 Nov 1944 with CVG 18. The picture I chose of these TBF's flying in formation was completely random, when I showed my tattoo to my grandfather on his deathbed, he began to cry and told me that the picture I used as my tattoo was taken of VT-18, his squadron, and the second plane from the bottom was him flying.

The tattoo was done by Hans at Crown Tattoo in Charlotte, NC

	They look very nice, I'd like to see a clearer picture though. (Says the broad who has a crap photo of her best tattoo.)
