My last name is Goodwin, but it is derived from Godwyn and I found an awesome seal-die in the british museum that was onced used by the nobleman Godwyn in 1039-42. The seal-die in the center of the tattoo is a direct copy of the original and that is why it may look sloppy to you but I wanted it that way. I had my artist add celtic knot work and the two celtic dogs to the piece to bring it all together. I am extremely pleased with this piece!
