Had Daniel at Prophetic ink in Murfreesboro TN do this cover up for me. The angle is still raw, but in a couple of weeks she'll look great!
*** Mostly healed up and looks like crap - see other picture posted. Going to someone else to fix my cover-up (cover-up of a cover-up?). Lesson: CHECK OUT YOUR TATTOOER THOROUGHLY BEFORE HAVING HIM INK YOUR SKIN! ***
Also, the face will need a bunch more contrast shading. The bridge of the nose needs to be narrowed with shading. Make sure it's done on paper first or it could really be jacked.
I would definitely add some opaques in the lower parts of the wings to help the cover more. But the upper portion of the wings should be heavily shaded. Your light source word warrant dark under there.
Would love to see healed pics, but right off the face is going to be lost, 0 contrast. The entire piece lacks detail and those feathers under the wing look like fish scales. I believe this is fixable... but looks like another cover session.
