I got this tattoo (my first and only) to commemorate my mom after she died.
There is a lot of symbolism in this tattoo for me... Some of it might be obvious, some of it probably not.

It was done by Sam McWilliams at Tuesday Tattoo in San Francisco. The idea was to try to mimic the style of a Japanese woodblock print.
