	@Jools - I think swirls work very well with a phoenix as it gives the smokey effect of a phoenix rising from its own ashes. I had it done in black and grey simply because im not a fan of colour tattoos, but thats only personal opinion.

	I have a phoenix too. I love the use of only black and grey on this. came out really cool
