The dragon is the Ouroboros, a 4000 year old symbol depicting a serpent eating itself symbolizing eternity or recreation. The pentagram doubles as a compass rose, but instead of having 4 points it has 5. The fifth direction being hell. Loosely inspired by the band Endstille
