This is on my left shoulder blade. My mother is currently fighting breast cancer (Feb 2011 will be 5 years.) We've always loved dragonflies and what they stand for.. so I got this one for her and her strength and courage. This was my 3rd tattoo, 2nd one done by Mark Davern in Port Charlotte, Fl. I had the vision in my head of a dragonfly, and it's trail would resemble a pink ribbon. I wanted bright colors, like stained glass. And he brought it to life :)

	Omg i love your tattoo. I was diagnosed with brain cancer last june dr's said i had less than 3 months to live. Here i am a year later the drs say i have no sign of cancer. So i hope you dont mind if i take the inspiration from your tattoo for my own

	this is awesome and really nice I have decided to use this same design but with a blue purple ribbon because i am a survivor of domestic violence. I am glad i found the picture
