My classic butterfly tattoo was inspired by my son who was in a life threatening car accident in 2009. He was in a coma for 2 weeks and had a serious brain injury. To me butterflies instill hope and new beginnings. This design was done on my ankle and foot by artist Mandy Cartright in LaGrande,Oregon. This is my first ink and I am looking forward to getting another on the other foot.
