I got the idea for this tattoo from the cover art of Saves The Day's album In Reverie. Instead of having butterflies coming out of the slit in the stomach as it is on the album, I have 3 birds. Each one represents myself or one of my brothers. The general meaning behind it is that even in the midst of the tragedies we've gone through, not only have we survived, but we are managing to soar. It was my fourth tattoo, done at Rising Phoenix in Addison, IL. It's definitely one of my favorites. :-)
