Get a new artist and have him touch up the tags. Add shading and a drop shadow and it can be salvaged.

Nick, getting your own first name sucks. I don't like last names too much either, but at least you can say it's to pay respect to your family. Also, I like the idea about the dog tags, but both tats really suck.

yeah, dog tags coulda been done better, but I'm sure it's wonderful enough for you. My mom is dying of leukemia.. she was in the army.. I wanna do something similar! Thanks for the idea ( I'm gonna tattoo her army ring on me or her medal)
