Still bloody...!

By Joe Martinez @ Bolder Ink. My first tattoo... it's an excerpt from an essay by John Donne (not a poem, originally, as many people believe). The portion of his essay that this is from became popular after Mark Twain's For Whom the Bell Tolls included it in the preface of the novel. Ultimately, it's a way of saying that when those that I have been close with die, a part of me dies. (RIP Aunt Ginny... and all others that we have lost.)
