Is there some reason why the kanji is lying on its side? To be the right way round it would need a quarter turn to the right. |

Ugh, the kanji (not "kongi") is pretty bad. |

The stars overlap, but the lines don't and it would look much better if they did. It makes the stars misshapen. |

First of all it's a character not a symbol. Second, the two parts of the character are supposed to be in proportion. One side should not be noticeably bigger than the other. The bottoms should be roughly the same level. |

A good example of why you shouldn't just choose flash off a shop wall and get any idiot to tattoo it on you. The kanji is readable, and the strokes are correct, but it's unbalanced and obviously written by someone who doesn't know kanji. |

I find the subject matter creepy in an obsessed fan way. Also, it looks like you've mixed traditional and simplified kanji, which is a shame: traditional are always nicer in tattoos. Pity about the font, too. |

You know, richiegecko, if you're going to insinuate that people are stupid, you should really check your spelling. It's spelled "nautical," not "nortical." |

I really feel like an American Idol judge here sometimes. It's a typical flash kanji surrounded by some smoke or something; did you think it was going to wow people? |

You said yourself it was a spur of the moment thing, ie: not thought out at all. It's just a Chinese character. Not great, but not awful either. The strokes are correct and it's clean. So yeah, it's ok. |

Aside from the awful kanji, this really doesn't mean what you think it does. Actually, it means nothing. With a little research you could have had something lovely. |

There is no such thing as a Chinese character that represents the letter F. In fact, this character is pronounced shizuku, and it means drip or drop. |

Traditional characters are always much nicer for tattoos than simplified ones. Shame about the font, too. |

Meh, it's ok. At least all the strokes are correct. |
