It means "agony," and it's quite nicely done. |

The kanji are ok. A few mistakes here and there, but still readable. The effect is fairly nice. All in all not awful, but not great either. |

Nope. Pretty lame comeback. At least try to defend your work on its merits. |

Oh, is that what they're doing. And how are they doing that? |

It took all of about 60 seconds. For some reason, URLs that cover more than one line here have an extra space in them that you need to remove when you C&P them. Give it a try. Look, you were lucky, but it just goes to show that kanji need a LOT of research |

Who says tattoos are supposed to be meaningful? Why are they any less "good" or "valid" if they're just decorative? |

And by the way, I checked your characters in 2 Chinese dictionaries, one online and one hardcover. According to those sources, even in Chinese neither one has the meaning you ascribe them. |

There's a difference between kanji and hanzi, sure. But why don't you go look it up? Here, I'll make it easy: http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic .cgi?1D. http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic .cgi?1D. |

The one on the left means "forces" or "military strength" and the one on the right means "music" or "comfort." Should have taken your own advice. |

My Latin's a tad rusty, but unless I'm much mistaken this should actually read "In [not e] nomine [not nomini] patris [not patri], et [not e] filii [not fili], et [not e] spiritus [not spiritu] sancti." |

Uh, yeah. This isn't a Chinese character, or if it is the closest meaning would be the number 8. |

Not only is it not what you wanted, but it's also extremely poorly written, and doesn't even look tattooed all that well. Congratulations. |
