The text is Tibetan characters and not Sanskrit, though the mantra words are. The script looks similar because they both share long roots. |

Let me first off say what an original tat that eclipise is. Wonderful thinking on that one. And the Sanskrit even better. You "designed" something that took maybe a second to realize how to mirror it. Learn to criticize yourself before others.. |

Thanks for the input, guys! I actually don't mind the raised feeling - it's kind of like tattoo and scarification in one. Since I can't see the tats without a mirror, touch is one of the ways I enjoy them. |

In response to your question, I believe George has already hit the nail on the head. I have also went through this but mine are more so in places that are sensitive to the elements. ( Inner arms,etc...) |

To answer your question : raised tattoos is caused by going through more layers of skin
than necessary with the needle . in simple terms it means : Tattoo Artist with HEAVY-HAND. |
