But it is a Japanese character; that you didn't intend it to be read in Japanese doesn't make any difference, the same way that "pain" means something that hurts in English, but "bread" in French. |

well good thing it's not a japanese symbol. it's symbolic and not silly - it's for my family. i didn't want to cover it up. i wanted to add to it. thanks. |

In Japanese this means "catch or arrest." What a silly way to choose a Chinese character. My advice would be to cover it up. |

Hmm I agree it really need's something! It look's soo lost on your back, maybe go for some cherry blossoms, or a cherry blossom tree, continue with the chinese theme perhaps? |
