great idea. but i sort of don't get the "anymore" part. it's probably just one of those things thats sounds really cool in the poem, but loses a little when it's out of context. 6

oh, I think I understand better now. That makes sense. I just see so much negativity from people nowadays that it throws me when people intend a positive spin. I'm a chronic optimist, myself. lol Live long and prosper, K.

Thanks for the comment Edward. If you're a true friend to anyone of course you try to protect them, women protect their friends too. The tattoo was not to say that people don't protect you, more that it's unfair to expect it of them. :)

I like your tattoo, and from what I've read here, I think I would like you as a person. Bravo for standing up for yourself. :) On a more philosophical note, I personally don't agree with the saying. Real men, honorable men, protect their friends.

HAHA rate myself? Right, because I have nothing better to do? I don't think it should be top 10 so why would I rate myself? I love my tattoo because it's simple... SIMPLE i.e no colour! and no cliché ideas that are played out like yours!

It's a quote from a piece of art. I wanted the whole sentence. It was just something that appealed to me.
