Yours is awesome, love it! The colour and shading work is fantastic. 'Tis a shame that original tatt slighly detracts from what is a really nice piece. |

| Thanks for the compliment on my work! The only thing I could suggest is that when it heals have the artist go back through it and add some more color and texture for where the old tattoo shows through. Good luck! |

| Thanks for suggestion on my pheonix. I was going to add to the back of my arm, not right where the phoenix it...and I was also thinking of staying in the Japanese tradition...I'll post a pic if and when I do it! |

| Hi...thanks for the comment on my fall mandala! I came to the artist (Brad at MacKenzie's in Carmel NY) with the idea of what I wanted in it and he just went at it and drew this. This is the 5th one he's done on me and I really like his work! |

| Honest opinion? It's wicked awesome!!! I really like the way it came out...especially the flames. It's a very masculine kinda pheonix whereas your fiance's is more of a feminine one. And the tie in for both is the background swirls...I love that! |
