| Just a question, not a criticism, but did you ever consider not giving it the old weathered look? Don't get me wrong, I think it's a beautifully executed piece, just curious about the decision to keep it "antique" looking. Outstanding work. |

| That's pretty sick dude. An interesting spin on the Phoenix, almost dragon like. I dig. I guess you don't intend to add color, but damn that ink would pop with the right color. Either way, A+ bro. |

| Hey Jon, the Phoenix is a mythical bird and subject to artist interpretation. I think my artist did an amazing job at capturing both beauty and fierceness as well as being about technically proficient as they come. |

| First of all I love the tat, think the colors and lines are sharp and crisp. Second, I love that you aren't making this painfully obvious that this is a SOAD tat by getting their name or logo inked on you. BRAVO for being original!! |

| people-are-strange07 - The outline alone took close to 6 hours. I don't know that you can appreciate the size of this piece in the pic. I'm 6 feet tall and this goes from my shoulder blade to a good 6" below my waist line. Has to be darn near 2' long. |
